mucha ropa
Is it mucha/o ropa?
1 Answer
It depends if mucho were modifying clothes, as you appear to indicate, or modifying something else. It this first situation that I assume you are asking about:
"Mucha ropa" or perhaps "mucha la ropa" since "la ropa" indicates clothing and is singular but it depends on what you are trying to say. Either way, ropa is a feminine noun, therefore, it takes a feminine adjective. Examples:
Compramos mucha ropa infantil. We bought a lot of baby clothes.
But it could also be "mucho" if mucho were referring to something masculine other than the clothes, i.e.:
Me gusta mucho la ropa. I very much like the clothes.
