"You are wise beyond your years"
Hola a todos,
Como se dice "You are wise beyond your years" en Castellano?
Quiero decir: "Eres sabio (despues de/mas que) tus años" pero creo que no es correcto!
He buscado por en Internet y no puedo encontrar algo similar, este frase no existe en Castellano?
Gracias por os ayuda.

Hello allenl. It depends on whether you know the person or not. I would say, "Usted es sabio más allá de sus años". A dictionary will tell you that (más allá de) would mean 'beyond' in this context. Having said this, (además de) means exceeding. So, it is possible to say "Usted es sabio además de sus años. Just as in English, there are several ways of saying things...that's the beauty of language! Oh, by the way, you were correct in using 'Ser' because being wise is a 'Characteristic', which always takes this verb. Hope this helps...Jool.
