Despertarse?

What does "despertarse" mean? It's not in the dictionary as far as I can tell. I'm assuming it's a reflexive verb meaning "to wake up oneself", but I'm not quite sure. Does it exist? Thanks in advance. :D K

You are correct, it is reflexive verb "to wake oneself up." Present indicative is conjugated as me despierto, te despiertas, se despierta, nos despertamos, os despertáis, se despiertan.

It is listed in the SpanishDict full translation of despertar. I'd love to see it used in context, if anyone has a good example.
