Is the translator here more reliable?
Than, for example, Google Translate?

Hi TereAmor. Goldie and Jadey gave a good explanation of the benefits of the translators here, it's nice to be able to compare three machine translations on the same page. Austin is right, no machine translator will be perfect all the time. So it's nice to also have the dictionary search, to look up individual words, and the Spanish Grammar section, for grammar questions. Also, as you know, we have an amazing Q&A section with fellow language learners who can help you with questions these resources don't answer. Getting answers from real people is a great help. Welcome to Q&A!
I honestly can't say. I haven't performed any rigorous tests . Regardless, I wouldn't trust any translator 100%. Some Google translations seem ok and others, really weird. I could say the same about the 3 on here (sin insultar! Pero a veces funcionan bien y otras veces no). Whatever translation they give, apply what you know as well and if possible, run it past some natives. Good luck
I think translators are only fairly accurate for 1 word at a time. Past that, the accuracy goes out the window.
