What a shame
Poor SpanishDict... This used to be the website that I came to, where I KNEW I could get answers and help from really great and helpful people. Every question that was asked would get a detailed and explanatory answer that helped us all. I knew that if I made a mistake when answering a question or adding my reply to one of the games, that it would be corrected and explained to me by one of the ex moderators. I loved having such great and generous native speakers, who dedicated their time to help all of us, who were hoping and working to learn a new language. I believe that when learning a new language, having contact with native speakers is crucial. I know in my case, that SD was the place I could come for that, and now that is no longer the case. Every day that I would come to SD, I learned something new. Unfortunately, this is no longer the SD that I knew and loved. With so many of the "greats" having left, the quality of this site has greatly decreased. I no longer see this site as an asset to my learning experience...which is a shame.

What is so sad is that you are so right.You can't trust the answers anymore and a lot of inappropriate posts are not promptly deleted.
