We call them " Spring rolls " also Sandy , they are usually filled with pork , or Prawns or even prawn and pork mixture , you roll them in lettuce leaves and dip in Nok lam, delicious. - ray76, Oct 8, 2012

En Costa Rica se dice ''tacos chinos.'' There is not a wide understanding of authentic Mexican food in Costa Rica, so the term Taco is used for traffic, high heel shoes, or rolled up food. Tacos Chino is litterally Chinese Tacos. A little bit funny.

I could go for Chinese. - SonrisaDelSol, Feb 16, 2012
Some restaurants don't seem to make the distinction but technically egg rolls are the fried ones pictured in sanlee's answer; spring rolls are non-fried, the ones wrapped in thin rice paper. - Jellybean1996, Feb 16, 2012
