How do I say "You pitched a good game." in Spanish?

One of the pitchers doesn't speak very good English. My Spanish is very limited. I want to be able to tell him this year if he wins that he pitched a good game.

You can say:
If you feel he is "informal," or If you guys are friends: "Lanzaste un buen partido."
Or if you consider him "formal," : "Lanzó un buen partido."
BTW: Please change the category to Vocabulary and Grammar instead of Games and Challenges
