I am a cashier, and would like to know if there is any special way to say, to a spanish speaker, their transaction amount (in american dollars). How would you say "check", "cash", and any other related words that would be helpful? I know this question is broad, but any simple answers would really help.

Great question! Check is cheque, cash is dinero en efectivo, savings account is cuenta de ahorros. And your title would be cajera.
