Estaba leyendo un artículo en las noticias, y dijeron que "unilever adquirió las marca fab 'a' la compañia Colgate.".
Cuando se usa adquirir, siempre es adquirir a y no adquirir de?

According to the Diccionario de dudas, by Manuel Seco, they are both fine, Adquirir a or adquirir de when you acquire from someone... adquirir en when you acquire someplace... etc.
