Games Update
Hi everyone!
I just wanted to write with a quick update on the games. I know many of you love participating in daily games, and I think they are a great way to practice new vocabulary and grammar. You'll notice that we have even created a tab at the top of the forum so you can get to the games a lot faster.
Starting tomorrow, I will be posting the Word of the Day game in the forum to coordinate with the current Word of the Day that goes out in the email. I can't wait to see all of your creative ways to use the Word of the Day that I didn't think of!
We are also going to build more games based on interest, so feel free to let me know what you would like to see more of in the forum every day. Some options include:
- A-Z game - Given a category, each person adds a word for each letter of the alphabet example: colors - (person 1) A: amarillo, (person 2) B: beis, (person 3) C: café
- English Word of the Day - write an English and Spanish phrase, given an English word
- Picture of the Day - Given a picture, write the best caption in both English and Spanish
Saludos, Paralee

Can crucigramas (crosswords) be implemented? with clues, all in Spanish, of course. They could also be made for English learners, perhaps with same clues, but different arrangement of boxes due to obvious differences in words between languages, etc.
Paralee,
I believe that gintar77 was doing the 'Picture of the Day' threads. I would contact him to make sure this was ok.
Drop One, Take One was a favorite of mine, though I really just started browsing through it a week or two before the old one was down. And definitely keep the Word of the Days, English and Spanish.
Can we have a joke of the day section?
Mad-libs game in Spanish. It will not only help our Spanish, but also exercise our stomach muscles. ![]()
