Hi Boo32,

What a question to ask wink as I love music sooooooooooo much (and having a colombian novio and dancing zumba 3-4 times a week make it even more fun!)

My favourite style of music by far is VALLENATO. My vallenato-heroes are SILVESTRE DANGOND!!, FELIPE PELAEZ, JORGE CELEDON, PETER MANJARRES, Daniel Calderon y los gigantes del vallenato, Nelson Velásquez, ...Their music really makes you happy, active, energetic, ...., wanting so sing along, .....

Until I started zumbadancing about a year ago, it was vallenatos and CUMBIAS only. Still having Dutch, inflexible hips at that time, I couldn't appreciated salsa, merengue, axe, mambo, ... but now that I finally 'understand'/FEEL the rhythm I love salsa, reggaeton, reggae, axe, mambo, soca ....
So present favourites include:

OMEGA EL FUERTE: si te vas que tengo que hacer + merengue electronico

REGGAETON => WISIN Y YANDEL: pam pam; DON OMAR: salio el sol; ...

BACHATA => AVENTURA; Luis Miguel del Amargue: De rodillas te pido; Hector Acosta: Me voy; Juan Luis Guerra: Burbujas de amor + Bachata rosa; Zacarías Ferreira: El amor es así; Alex Bueno: Te amo; Xtreme: Vuelve

SALSA => JOE ARROYO; MALO RUIZ; GILBERTO SANTO ROSA: la agarro bajando

TANGO => Ruben Juarez: Passional

some other songs I really like: LOS NOCHEROS: Entre la tierra y el cielo - Raul Paz: Mua mua mua - Axel Fernando: Celebra la vida + Amo - José José: Lo que un día fue no será - Juanes: A Dios le pido - Luis Fonsi: Perdoname - Elvis Crespo: Suavemente - Pepe Aguilar: Me estoy acostumbrando a ti - Shakira: Hay amores

Hope you are going to try any of these artists. Enjoy the music!!!

Yes. Also one of my favorites. I think it impossible to pick a single favorite song or group as there are so many moods. - gringojrf, Mar 11, 2012
