Basically automated web crawlers crawl the web looking for email addys...once found, they send them spam and phishing scams. Popular websites can attract these malicious crawlers and, so far as I know, there is not much that can be done about it. - webdunce, Feb 13, 2012

PM me and I will send you my email address. I don't have skype. Maybe I should. As of right now, this facebook group has about 15 old SpanishDict members on it as well but I'm not totally sure who because not everyone has told us who they are.

Yes, you should never write your email out like that on any public site. And even this somewhat encoded way is not the best. It leaves you open to email spam and phishing scams. Preferably offer to give out email / skype via PM. - webdunce, Feb 14, 2012
