Using lo, la, los, and las in: "Ella usó la crema aprotectora en la playa."
I have this spaish packet and I am almost done with it but this section I don't understand. I have to substitute by using "lo, la, los, or las" for the indicated direct object for each sentence. I don't know how to rewrite it.
Heres one: Ella usó la crema aprotectora en la playa.
How do I rewrite it? If I knew how to rewrite this one I could do the other ones. Please help!

As Nikki said, the direct object is la ceama protectora.
Lo, la, los, and las, are all direct object pronouns. They replace direct objects.
I've never seen aprotectora before, but it looks like in English the sentence is "She used the sunscreen at the beach."
Replacing the direct object (sunscreen) we get "She used it at the beach."
In Spanish their pronoun for "it" as well as "him/her" is replaced by gender specific pronouns such as lo, la, los, and las.
In this case it is just "la" as Hecho said, based on the fact that la crema aprotectora is feminine and singular.
In Spanish the placement of pronouns goes like this "Indirect Object + Direct Object + verb."
Well, the DO here is "la creama protectora" ... Since that is feminine, which do you think it would be replaced with?
Once you figure that out, you put the direct object pronoun in front of the verb. :D
Ella la usó en la playa.
