I had two sentences to complete, and two answer choices: 1) ______ me saludan en el bar. 2) ______ son menos efusivas.
The answer choices are "ellas" and "ellos," and I can't figure out how to tell which one goes where... Thank you for your help!

Ellos (they) = a group of guys and girls or just guys
Ellas (they) = a group of girls (women)
