Respecto a Cogu, Marshall, Heidi, Yeser y demás colaboradores mi más profundo apoyo. Yo en vuestro lugar haría exactamente lo mismo!!

Oh my goodness, 'English word of the day' was one of my greatest resources for learning Spanish. I hope everything is resolved quickly....

This has been a sad SD day today.
My deepest thanks and appreciation goes to Marshall and Cogumela for having so long sustained one of the best Spanish learning episodes in my life.
I don't feel as though I've lost any friends, nor feel abandoned. We must stand by our principles, and I fully support your decisions.

A big thanks to Marshall and Cogu for this thread...ever since I was little, I hated the words "good bye" and "take care", so I'm not even going to say them right now. I'll just leave it at "thanks"
How very sad to hear this news Marshi..I will miss your thread as I will miss Heidita and cogumela ,I do hope the problems that we are experiencing at the moment will soon be amicably resolved..If you do not return Heidi and Cogumela know that I will miss you both and appreciated your corrections and encouragement ...So Sad !!
Although I never participated in the English Word thread, I feel deeply saddened by this turn of events. We have precious few native Spanish speakers here who are willing to help us, guide us, teach us, all for free!
I admit I have learned a fair bit over here, and hopefully will continue to. Sadly, if things had to come to this state, ... (I'm speechless)
A great thank you to Marshi for your relentless efforts on the English thread, and Cogumela for your efforts correcting our Spanish, both of you haven't forgotten the English learning community here!
People make up the forums. We stay because of the people, and we leave because of the people. There is only so much infrastructure can do. What makes SD different is the interaction. I've enjoyed it alot, thanks to the people in this forum who always make my day and clear my doubts.
