If you are trying to write a time in the imperfect tense, for example, "It is four o-clock in the afternoon", would you use the third person plural of ser?

for example, "It is four o-clock in the afternoon"

That is present tense! Anyway, in imperfect you'd use eran, because the time is more than 1.

What if you were saying it was 1? Would you use era instead? - cordanth, Feb 12, 2012
