It is an idiom. Rolling in the Deep is what a ship far out at sea does - in old fashioned, poetic language. The image is a small ship tossed on a very deep, dark ocean.
She is singing about how she feels about the breakup.
To quote:
"Finally, I can see you crystal clear. Go ahead and sell me out and I'll lay your ship bare. See how I leave, with every piece of you Don't underestimate the things that I will do."
Later on she says "Think of me in the depths of your despair. Making a home down there, as mine sure won't be shared."

[Adele]: The phrase "rolling in the deep" is sort of my adaptation of a kind of slang, slur phrase in the UK called "roll deep," which means to always have someone that has your back, and you're never on your own. [I]f you're ever in trouble you've always got someone who's going to come and help you fight. And that's how I felt in the relationship that the record's about, especially "Rolling in the Deep." That's how I felt, you know, I thought that's what I was always going to have, and um, it ended up not being the case.

Esta entrada me dio una risita...nuestras estudiantes están locas por esa canción - se oye por todas partes...Y, the Silent Hero tiene razón - esa canción tampoco tiene sentido en inglés!!! 
En íngles, no tiene sentido. Para mi, la interpreto como "Estar pegado" o algo así.
