I am translating a recipe and there are 2 words I can't understand.

're-tíralo' the phrase is 'saltea el pavo 5 minutos y re-tíralo'

and

'tuéstala' the phrase is 'añade la harina y tuéstala 1 minuto'

Many thanks

saltea el pavo 5 minutos y retíralo.

This is correct, retíralo is the imperative mood, remove it, as clinker said.

añade la harina y tuéstala 1 minuto

This means, Add the harina (I think this is a powder which can be made in different ways; look it up on WordRef) and toast it for one minute.

Tuéstala again is the imperative mood, meaning toast it (from tostar)

I believe it should say" 'saltea el pavo 5 minutos y retirarlo' " saute the turkey for 5 min and remove it.

As for the other word I am clueless.

retíralo and tuéstala are both imperatives; take it off, and toast it, respectively - Jeremias, Feb 11, 2012
