I thought that I had seen this discussion before, but I couldn't find it. Quieres is just an example, but is there any difference?

I don't think "se quieres" means anything in Spanish. Are you trying to ask about the difference between reflexive and non-reflexive forms of the same verb? You could search the forum for that.

No, this is not a case of reflexive verbs. I have been told that there is no difference between the two, but I am reading a book that keeps using se quiere. - kdrinning, Feb 9, 2012

Well, one difference is that 'se quieres' means you want to, and 'quieres' means you want.
