Thanks to Heidita

Question

Hola my SD family....Everyday we see posts how someone hit a certain landmark of points or badges here on SD. Have you ever wondered what goes on in the background, or behind the walls of SD where no one has a clue of what really is going on. The everyday struggles of individuals on SD that needs an answer now, or have a problem addressed or solved. This is where Heidita comes in. We are so lucky to have someone that spends so much time on SD to take care of us. The people that own this site are so very lucky that she keeps things going so well.

Lets all just give Heidita a big Thanks for all she does here. That my friends, can go a long way and touch her heart. We love you Heidita, and Thank You so very much.

She is simply amazing, you may not know but she handles like a ton of problems everyday, just to keep our forum as lovely as it is, she's a wonderful woman, a great teacher, and a good mom for her two little cats too jejeje BUT most important an unforgettable friend

Heidita, I think you are well aware of how much I appreciate all your efforts to keep this site running smoothly, to push for enhancements to make it a better place, and to ensure that we are learning as well. Your dedication to us and this site is amazing, and that you do it as a volunteer is even more so. As I have said to you, I suspect that I would have given up trying to learn long ago, if it were not for what you have accomplished here. This site would not be the site I love so much without your efforts.

Heidita, I echo Marshall's sentiments and offer my own thank-you for your contributions to this site and to me personally. Though I am having some health related problems now, I am able to converse on a very simple level with Spanish speaking patients in the clinic where I volunteer and in the church I attend.

I am improving every day, largely due to the encouragment and help you and other great members have given me on this site. I am currently planning a return trip to the state of Chiapas, Mexico next May-June. I hope to continue offering assistance to people in need regardless of the language barriers.
