It means "I would like to see you." If you are reading, and just want to know its meaning quickly, the translation engine may be the quickest first stop. However, if you question why this sentence seems so "strange", it is worth asking in the forum. Some advanced Spanish speaker will be able to help you (I hope). After all, this short sentence is not "simple", and its structure is quite useful for learning similar expressions. Welcome and keep asking questions.

Hola Mariena

Welcome to SD.

If you put "quisiera verte" into the translator above you will get an idea what it means.

Remember that computer translators are often not correct - but it is a start. smile

"verte" is "to see you". The suffix "te" matters here. - pesta, Feb 9, 2012
