Yes, I hear a lot of people say "hace mucho" to mean " a long time ago", but you need an accent "sí"

Your inquiry is confusing; can you clarify what you are meant to say?
Did you mean "sí" as in "yes"? There is no subject here but there does not need to be one necessarily.
"Hace mucho" = long ago
"hace mucho " referring to a long time ago as in "hace mucho tiempo" or perhaps "hace mucho frío" referring to it is very cold [weather] or "si hace mucho ejercicio" = "if one does much exercise"
"Se hace mucho" as in much was done?
"Hace mucho que" = has long been . . .
