Cuando era joven mi mamá me dijo que yo era tan bello.
That was a running tag line when I was in high school in Caracas. I think it was a line from a T V show. Sorry. Your title brought back a lot of memories.

Do you mean dar? The conjugation tool at the top of the page will give you the imperfect conjugations. There is also a section in Learn->Spanish Grammar on dop's and iop's. - KevinB, Feb 7, 2012
