This is only a learning forum. 
So as far as communication, it's only by message of the chat area. You can add people on Facebook if you want to. However, the main purpose of this site is to help you learn and practice your Spanish or English. To answer your question, we're all friends here.

Also you can use the ''private messages'' function, just go to the profile of any person here and under his profile pic and the information you'll see an option that says ''send private message''
