I don't blame you for feeling that way
¿Cómo se dice: "I don't blame you for feeling that way"?
I'm pretty confident in my literal translation: No te (lo,la if formal?) culpo por sentirse así - - But I feel like there has to be a more accurate [removed]perhaps idiomatic?) that conveys more closely the meaning of the sentence (which is more like saying "Of course you would feel like that" there person speaking the phrase isn't really "blaming" anyone for anything)
Does that make sense? ¿Esto tiene sentido?

Something along the lines of "Comprendo por qué te sientes así" or "Comprendo tus sentimientos" would carry the feeling of "I don't blame you for feeling that way" without the actual concept of "culpa".
Your literal translation is almost perfect! Good for you!
- ¡No lo/la culpo por sentirse así/de esa forma!
- No te culpo por sentirte así/de esa forma.
- ¡Comprendo/Entiendo como te sientes / se siente!
