how do you use affirmative verbs? and how are they conjugated?

There is not such a thing as affirmative and/or negative verbs. Verbs are actions and by negating them you make a negative sentence. Remember, the purest, simplest form of a verb is the infinitive form. Every verb in Spanish ends in "ar, er" or "ir" That is the verb before it has been conjugated.

Verbs are conjugated the same, whether they are negative of affirmative.

Unless there is something you are not making clear, and affirmative verb is any verb used affirmatively.

etc... would be the present indicative of andar used affirmatively. To make it negative, just put no in front of the verb:

no ando etc.
