¿ Como van tus estudios? ¿Es esta es difícil o fácil, aburrido o interesante?
How are your studies, are they difficult or easy, boring or interesting?

"¿Son ellos difícil o fácil, aburrido o interesante?" would be a more correct way of saying this. I believe that you should use ser because those things seem to be characteristics of his studies, not a temporary condition or mood. - Jadey7, Feb 5, 2012
You're right, Jadey, you have to use the "ser" verb. But, it would be better in plural: ¿Cómo van tus estudios? ¿Son difíciles o fáciles, aburridos o interesantes? - Cordobesa, Feb 5, 2012

¿Cómo van tus estudios, son difíciles o fáciles, aburridos o interesantes?
