Word of the Day, English Word of the Day , Picture of the Day, postponed until codes get fixed

I personally don't think we need to stop the WOD threads just because they are not pretty anymore. We still have markdown, which is good enough to get the point across.
Rather than post the text/coding itself, just post an image of it.
I hope you're kidding.
It turns a 15-second edit into a 10-minute process, for me.
With all due respect, This is just crazy-talk.
I don't think it's productive to make tasks that were otherwise normal, into a massive series of work-arounds. It's not really practical going forward, as new members already have a lot to deal with, and they shouldn't need to be snagged by work-arounds.
I'm not sure I can take a day without those 2!!!!
Well, It does seem a shame to have to postpone Word and Picture of the Day! Surely there is a simple work around?
Word of the Day: Could we not simply post the words... by that I mean our sentences and have them corrected by the moderator? The pictures are lovely but Word of the Day could certainly function without them on a short term basis!
I admit that Picture of the Day could prove much more tricky
Here is the link for that picture on photobucket. link text
It is a shame but I am sure the good folks behind the scenes are working on it, I shall look at it as an opportunity to actually get on with some of the tasks in my course books
Ohh, ahora puedo descansar un poco, solia prisa - en la manana y noche -
..........por publicar mi respuesta. Espero que es solo un dia.
I don't understand the problem A workaround has already been suggested that will work for these posts. Rather than post the text/coding itself, just post an image of it.
Below is the text/coding from an "old site" thread on the English Word of the day. I cut and pasted it into the text editor on this thread. The Preview Screen of this text still supports XHTML tags (for creating Rich Text) so the "Question" still appears as it would on the old site. Just capture the image of the Preview screen and post that as your question, rather than the coding/text istelf. [which if posted would only allow MarkDown tags rendering it to Plain text.]
So here is an image of what would be your new ""question" if you posted, not the coding, but an image of it.
Oop! I forgot to crop it. And if the image is too small, just divide in into several images, rather than posting just one image capture.
