Realize that Tomás is a proper noun. That is the noun that they are referring to. - 0074b507, Feb 3, 2012

Carlos me lleva al aeropuerto y también lo lleva.

Carlos drives me to the airport and also drives him (to the airport).

"Me" and "lo" are direct object pronouns for "me" and "him". It's sort of hard to tell whether the sentence you quoted was the original example or not.

Why is the word indirect used in the title? - 0074b507, Feb 3, 2012
It shouldn't. As Jeremías said, it is a direct one. - lazarus1907, Feb 3, 2012
