Which Mexican "dialect" would this be? Spanish? Náhuatl? Pápago? Pima? Tepehuan? Yaqui? Mayo? Spanglish? Tex-Mex? What?

I'm not sure about the best way... but

Lo cocinaste?

cocinaste eso?

And dont forget how important it is to be respectful if its someone you dont know too well. Or someones parents. In which case its a little different.

lo cocinó usted?

Given the context and your the relationship with the kitchen ladies, I'd say.

  • ¿Usted cocinó eso?, ¿Usted preparó eso?

¿Has cocinado esto? familiar form or ¿Ha cocinado esto? ustd form but maybe the Mexicans say it differently.
