They say that depending on the gender whose speaking or being talked about, the ending ends in -o or -a. But everywhere I see manaña, it is always feminine. Does it change if a boy is speaking or being talked about?

Mañana is a noun, and doesn't change gender by context of other words.

However ...

La Mañana is "the morning", and

El Mañana is "the tomorrow", so beware of that for this particular word.
