This thread is kindly moderated by Dr, Vicente. Please correct your posts according to Dr. Vicente's indications and suggestions, and of course use the corrections to learn from your errors! smile.

Posts which will not be corrected or accepted:
• Captions with 3 words or less
• Paragraphs should not be longer than 1 1/2 lines but can have up to 3 line for practice.
• Posts which make no sense in either language
• Posts which consist mainly of lyrics or idioms which do not translate.
• Captions copied directly from books or other sources.
• Multiple posts from one person, or those who don't write the sentences in both English and Spanish.
Remember to correct your posts as suggested or they can NOT be "accepted".
Do not use subject pronouns in Spanish
Please refrain from overloading with graphic content (ie; bold smileys, etc). It makes it harder for the correctors to be able to read your posts…. )

My Example:

Nunca me gusta quejarme. Grrrrr….

I never like to complain. But, I have complaints about people that talk about themselves in the third person. Chris likes that. Chris doesn’t want to do this. Grrrr….

It's not that I'm complaining about my students. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it seems that I'm speaking to the walls.

Fantastic sentences! Well done. One tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny observation. Although it is correct to say "speaking to the walls" we would probably say "speaking to the wall" or "talking to the wall". - billygoat, Feb 1, 2012

If my wife's friend were to ask her - Are you happily married?

My wife would probably say - I have no complaints.

Sometimes it takes a lot of courage and persistence to complain about the service.

The owl complains to the moon, saying, you cannot search for rats in the moonlight.

Corrected,- Deleted the word "para"

Inspired by "Thomas Gray ".

Making a complaint can be very intimidating, and usually the employees don't help.

Nowadays people are tired of making formal complaints so they'd rather take the law into their own hands...
