Best way to say

He might be dead, we might have to go on without him.

My attempt:

Es posible que esté muerto, deberíamos adelantarnos sin él.

Is it good with adelanterse?

what about "alone"

we might have to go on alone. deberíamos adelantarnos solo? a solas?

Gracias

If I understand you correctly, I would say for the second phrase of your sentence "quizás tengamos que seguir adelante solos / sin él."

Es posible que él esté muerto, talvez debamos seguir sin él.
