Arepas Recipe for Project
Here's my rough draft for a recipe about Arepas, a native Venezuelan corn cake dish. Input is apreciated. ![]()
Sirva inmediatamente.

Las manos.
Si la masa se raja....
A calor moderado
Cuando (no accent) todas las tortas (these are not pasteles!) estén doradas (not marrones!), muévalos a una lata de hornear, y hornee (no need for el horno, that's redundant).
This is one way to make arepas. Not how I learned while I was in Venezuela, but there are many different ways to go about it. You can find plenty of videos to show different techniques, in Youtube. ![]()

This is how they are made in restaurants.

This is how I learned to make them.
Thanks for the input! I know there are lots of different ways to make arepas; when I searched them, I was surprised at how many results there were. It took me forever to track down some masarepa to make some authentic arepas. I already turned in the project, but it's nice to know Spanishdict has a helpful Spanish learning community. If I could give you a vote, I would! ![]()
