Conjugation of the verb decir to "di"
I am reading a spanish and english bible. I have found where it translates say into "di". I do not find this in the decir conjugation table and cannot see how dar can be related to this especially since it is a command for the future, and di is the preterite for dar. Please help.

It is the informal tú command.
