Hacienda is a Spanish word for estate. Most, if not all, did include some sort of farming enterprise. Some were plantations. Some included mining operations or even factories. But hacienda is generally accepted as a term for a large farm in Mexico or in other Hispanic countries. They are not "cattle ranches."
So I would say that your first two answers are correct.
Los Pinos is the home of the Mexican president, not the "king." I don't think Mexico has now or has ever had a king. In 2000, Vicente Fox gave over the residence to the public and moved into a cottage. Correct again.
I don't know about Mayan relics and haciendas, but it wouldn't surprise me if that were true.
Not everyone lives in an apartment, not even in Madrid!
Buena suerte and good work!
