me parece
I think , I believe....
Me parece que llueve.
yo parezco
Parezco una bruja, parezco una modelo
I look like a model, a witch
Me parezco
I resemble
Me parezco a Heidi Klum, me parezco a mi padre.
'Me parece' and 'Creo que' are equal.
'Me parece'. Is used in this case as noun. Example: Me parece que hoy es lunes
'Creo que' Example: Creo que mi perro está enfermo
BUT...
When 'parece' is used as verb, is similar to 'seem, look'. Example: Ese señor me parece conocido
The subject of me parece is "it/he/she/usted" That is why the 3rd personal, singular form of the verb is used. (present tense, indicative mood)
it seems/looks to me....
you/he/she seems/looks to me.....
Parezco a mi padre...I look like my father...
'Me parece'. Is used in this case as noun. Example: Me parece que hoy es lunes
Native speaker, or not, you analysis of the grammar is completely mistaken. "It seems to me that ..." is the main clause of the sentence. ("it " = impersonal subject, "seems" = the principal verb, "to me" = prepositional phrase complementing the verb (basically, adverbial). All that follows is in "indirect discourse" (and functions as a noun [the subject of my belief]).
A pesar de ser un nativo, tu analisís de la gramática está completamente equivocada. La clausula/frase principal es "me parece que". Es lo demás que funciona como sustantivo (para indicar lo que creo). .
me parece = creo que = pienso que?
