I'm not able to use the comment box today. When I click on it to open it, I get "there was an error in posting your comment."

I haven't been able to "comment" for about three weeks (or leave feedback in the new "feedback" box on the new SD) . I presumed my computer was mucking up but on reading this thread (and others) I realise I'm not alone. I thought updating to Explorer 9 might have helped, and I did this about a week ago but the update made no difference. And so this morning I downloaded Firefox and I'm now able to comment once more....and so now I've actually been able to leave a comment about this in the "feedback" box.


It seems a pretty desperate thing to have to do, you know, to change your browser completely...

Hi Leatha. When that happened to me a few times. I needed to clear my cache so I cleared it for the last week. I had to do this a few times. I also restarted the computer. Try this. I needed to clear the cache on Firefox and Google chrome (which is now down as usual). Give this a try and also you can write to feedback if it will let you.

I rebooted and it fixed the problem. I should have thought of that. Rebooting may have emptied the cashe, because there is no obvious way to do that on my IPad. Before I posted my question, I did search but there were so many returns, it was hard to see what answer applied.
