This is my best effort, but I am not a native speaker. Both these sentences are in the usted (formal) form.
Do you know how to take your medications? = ¿Sabe usted cómo tomar los medicaciones (or, tomar las medicinas)?
You have to take the medication after food. = Tiene que tomar la medicación después de alimento (or, después de la comida).
