I am currently jamming to the song "Represent Cuba" and wanted to know if any of you guys know of the term "orisha"?

They are the gods of nature - a group term brought to Cuba from Africa by the slaves:
Because African slaves came to America could not freely practice their religion, they hid under their Gods multiplicity African Catholic saints according to a relationship where they sought similar characteristics between them.
