En español: Porque en habíase una vez eras tu a quien yo adoré. En ingles: Because at once upon a time it was you I adored.
would you mind telling be how the words work together for this sentence in spanish. This is the only part of the song that I can't break down... not for a WORD FOR WORD copy, but I can't make sense of it in spanish. How would you change it?

Porque en habíase una vez eras tu a quien yo adoré.
Because there was a time you were whom I adored.
I am not sure what the 'en' is doing there, though. But the rest of it (above) is the literal translation, or in better English,
Because at one time it was you I adored.
