A question of punctuation
In English, when a sentence is completed with a quotation, the period is placed inside the quotation marks "like this." However, in Spanish, I see the period outside the quote "como este". First, is this correct? Second, is there an online site for learning spanish punctuation?

Jim, kudos to you for knowing the correct punctuation in English. Many people don't know the difference.
That is a great question! I have noticed that in English as well (which was odd to me). Do not know much about that in English, but I can tell you that in Spanish, a sentence is always closed by a period regardless of quotations marks, parenthesis, etc. When the sentence is a question or an exclamation, the "dot" that is part of the question/exclamation mark, plays the roll of the period.
