Alguno/Algún?

Alguno/Algún?

Hi fellow Spanishdicters!

I've encountered a slight confusion. I'm currently on Learn 2.11 - Negative & Indefinite Words. When Paralee was explaining alguno/alguna/algún she said that algún is used when it precedes a singular masculine noun, and the example for this was:

Hay algún problema con la computadora.

But my question would be... Isn't la computadora feminine. I thought it was.

If anyone could clear this up for me I'd be really grateful. Thanks in advance for any help!

La computadora IS feminine, but in this case, the adjective alguno is not describing la computadora, but instead it is describing the word problema which is masculine, as has been said above. Therefore it is algún problema.

It´s not describing the computer, it´s descrbing the problem. And problems are masculine. (of course they are!)
