Off to have fun in the sun!

Question

I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone for a couple of weeks! I hate to tell you this as it's a bit cruel really, especially if you live in the Northern Hemisphere and are presently shivering from the cold, but we're off for a couple of weeks at the beach in the sun, off camping yipee!

Now Heidi tells me that's her idea of hell but it's not that bad really as we have a little camper trailer, like the one below but no where near as new or as flash so it's very comfortable and convenient, it comes with a table and padded seats perfect for playing cards and/or studying Spanish grammar and a little kitchen to make sure that no one dies of starvation in the meantime je je.

So unless I find some way to connect to the internet out in the NZ bush (and previously I have been known to be quite resourceful when it comes to getting my Spanish fix, but if not) I'll see you all in a couple of weeks. I just wanted to let you know so you don't think that I'm ignoring my threads or forgetting any corrections, I will be back on the job quick smart!

But in the meantime, think of me enjoying the sun and a nice cool beverage or two, a few big novels and a couple of deep Spanish grammar books while supping on fresh fish and lobster, je je and don't have too much fun without me or learn too many interesting things! I'll miss all of your lovely insights and questions and witty words of the day etc. ¡Nos vemos compañeros de estudios!

Thanx Holly, yes we used to be the same but I've gotta say I just love our little camper, it takes heaps of stress out of the packing, the setting up and the stay itself! Plus you still get to sleep under canvas, best of both worlds! :) - Kiwi-Girl, Jan 24, 2012

to stay/sleep somewhere without all the normal creature comforts - eg if you go camping and rough it often you just have a tent and a sleeping bag, one pot for cooking and your toothbrush :) - Kiwi-Girl, Jan 24, 2012
