Your question seemed OK to me - Ranman, Jan 24, 2012
Ranman, I mean this with respect and I'm not trying to be condescending in any way, B U T, would you say "damn" or worse "I don't give a damn" to your grandma or to your children (if you're old enough to have them)? - DJ_Huero, Jan 24, 2012
I think the question is fine. It's up to him where and how he wants to use it. - coolclay, Jan 24, 2012
no cool, if the question includes a swear word, it is not allowed on the forum - 00494d19, Jan 25, 2012
I agree with Heidi because there is another forum called: ''Urban ....?'' something which allows alot of street slang and I thing swearing but each forum has the right to restrict content to make it appropraite for it;s own viewers! - FELIZ77, Jan 25, 2012

Well, I don't think you're question is completely appropriate for the forum. But since no one seems to have corrected or censored you... I'll give you exactly what you asked for amigo. smile

I don't care - No me importa

I don't give a damn - Me vale madre

Understand this sort of language didn't used to be permitted but I haven't been around as frequent for a while and Heidita seemed to approve. Remember, when speaking so informally and I dare say vulgarly, slang doesn't have a direct translation so perception plays a large part and some people may find what you say (ex: the 2nd phrase) more offensive than others. I hope you only use this information for educational purposes and keep on learning! grin

I don't much care for censorship. Words only have the importance you give them. - coolclay, Jan 24, 2012
Well clay, it's just as I stated before, would it be ok to use that bad language in front of your elders or children? Probably not, it's a level of maturity and responsiblility, and even respect to others who don't want to hear it. Some learn & some not. - DJ_Huero, Jan 25, 2012
I don't think to give a **** is bad, not a pretty thing to say probably, bu t...or is that swearing, Eddy is a native speaker, he didnt seem to think so. - 00494d19, Jan 25, 2012

"I do not care".

NO me importa, no me importa nada.

Very colloquial:

No me importa un pimientowink
