Can you use en adición like además?

You know how we say además like moreover, besides (which is like in addition to in English)

No quería comerlo, no tenía hambre y además no me gustan vegetales.

Could you say No quería comerlo, no tenía hambre y en adición no me gustan vegetales?

Another question:

Could you say

No quería comerlo, no tenía hambre además que no me gustan vegetales.

or

No quería comerlo, no tenía hambre además de que no me gustan vegetales.

and what about

No tenía hambre, I used it for "I wasn't feeling hungry" instead of "no tuve hambre" which might be better, for I wasn't hungry (at the unspecified time).

No, there are plenty of better alternatives:

además, también / tampoco, adicionalmente, por añadidura, aparte de que, and so forth.

"Además de que"

I would use "tenía" for I wasn't feeling hungry,or even "I wasn't hungry". I would only use "tuve" under some very specific instances - I think implying a limit:

No tuve hambre para comerme el postre - I wasn't hungry (enough) to eat the dessert.

No tuve hambre para más violencia - I was fed up with all the violence.
