Still (as in not moving) translation?

I've been studying "todavia" and "aún" today. I understand either can be used for the English word "still", i.e., "I still have a lot to learn". But what Spanish word is equivalent to the other use of "still"? Such as, "In the still of the night..."

In the still of the night = en la quietud de la noche.

Wow. I just looked in the dictionary. There are a variety of words depending on the situation.
quieto(a) (motionless); sereno(a) (calm); silencioso(a) (silent); natural (orange juice); sin gas (mineral water) calmar, tranquilizar (person)
