Inspired by the Word of the Day yesterday I wanted to say the following and is my translation correct?
There is two year's difference between my son and daughter.
Se cumple dos años entre mi hijo y hija.
Or should it me more literal: Hay dos años de diferencia entre...

Yo diría "Hay dos años de diferencia entre mi hijo o mi hija" o bien "Mi hijo y mi hija se llevan dos años"

De nada :) No se utiliza con ese sentido. Puedes usarlo, por ejemplo, así: "Mañana se cumple el primer aniversario de nuestra boda" (=la boda fue hace un año). If you don't understand something in Spanish, tell me, please :) - Cordobesa, Jan 21, 2012
