Obrero VS trabajador

Both used in Mexico to mean worker? I know trabajador also means hard working.

Maybe similar to English in this way.
obrero - labourer
trabajador - worker / employee

Obrero: manual or construction laborer, blue collar worker. This is the word that is used for "workers rights" or "workers' movements."
Trabajador: all workers
Las obras are public works, construction projects, etc.
