In that case it believe 'lo' would be the appropriate choice, depending on if it's a feminine or masculine object.

'Lo' is a direct object and 'le' is an indirect object. At times, 'le' will be substituted for 'lo' which is called leísmo and at other times, 'lo' will be substituted for 'le.' That is called loísmo. The rules can differ depending on where you are. For more information on indirect and direct objects, visit the corresponding reference pages.

More specifically, if the lo/le is usted the léismo de cortesía might be appropriate. - 0074b507, Jan 20, 2012

You have to look up your direct and indirect object pronouns. Remember the direct object is the direct recipient or object of the verb and the indirect is - like: to him. to her, to them. For instance. I give the book to him.

lo is direct oject for the book and le is indirect object. for to him. you gave the book, the book is the direct object and to him le is the indirect object so it is Yo se (le changes to se) lo di . I gave it to him

lo is the direct object and le is the indirect object (here -to him)
